In Memoriam- Fire Captain Marlowe Crawford
Monrovia Firefighters Local 2415 are saddened to announce the passing of Fire Captain Marlowe Crawford. Marlowe passed away on January 13, 2013. Captain Crawford started with Monrovia Fire Department in 1957 as a firefighter and retired as a Captain in 1991. Marlowe served as the Union Board Secretary Treasure during his time with Monrovia. Marlowe's son is James Crawford is currently serving the City of Hermosa Beach Fire Department as a Fire Captain.
There will be a memorial service held at Douglass & Zook Mortuary, 600 East Foothill Blvd., Monrovia at 1 p.m. on Monday January 21, 2013.
