Watch the Legislative Hearing on Toxic Flame Retardant Chemical Use
The Assembly's Environmental Safety and Toxic Materials Committee held an informational hearing on June 26, 2012 addressing the health, environmental and fire safety impacts of toxic flame retardants.
Stockton firefighter Koy Wilson and Firefighter Cancer Support Network spokesman Bryan Frieder, a BC with San Gabriel FD, were among those testifying to the health effects and cancer risk posed by these chemicals.
