CPF Endorsements for 2017 CalPERS Board of Administration Election
Voting for the CalPERS Board of Administration election is currently underway.
To safeguard the promise of a secure retirement, CPF members are urged to support union leaders David Miller and Michael Bilbrey in the contests for two seats on the CalPERS board that are currently at-large.
At Large A – David Miller is a rank-and-file union member and representative of the California Association of Professional Scientists (CAPS)– State Bargaining Unit 10. He works as a senior environmental scientist at the Department of Toxic Substances Control. David is also past president of CAPS and has represented employee and retiree interests and negotiated on their behalf for over 25 years. For more information, visit:

At Large B – Michael Bilbrey is a long-time union leader who was elected to the CalPERS Board of Administration in 2011. Since taking the position, Michael has been a champion for rank and file union members. Michael is past president of the California School Employees Association (CSEA) and a former vice president of the California Labor Federation Executive Council. For more information, visit:

VOTING BY MAIL: To cast your vote by mail, use the paper ballot that was mailed to your home on September 1st. Please not that your ballot must be received by October 2nd to be counted. To ensure that your vote is counted, vote and mail your ballot back TODAY.
