Today, California Professional Firefighters President Lou Paulson and California Fire Chiefs Association President Mike DuRee released a joint statement, outlining a series of proposals the California fire service should take to address the issue of behavioral health.

Corona Firefighters Local 3757 is saddened to announce the passing of one of their own in the line of duty. Corona Fire Captain Randy Brunet was diagnosed with job related cancer just two years after his retirement. He succumbed to this disease on January 28. He was 57 years old.

Fire service labor -- CPF and IAFF -- is working with management to address the mental toll of the profession and keep our firefighters healthy.

 Tracy Firefighters Local 3355 is saddened to announce the passing of Fire Captain Dan Havicus, who died on January 19th after a short illness.
